Exploding with people, colors, sounds and indistinquishable and often suspect smells, New York City is anything but tame. And the last thing this city needs is another loud mouth (loud keypad?) spouting off about the best things to do/see/ingest/invest in.
I am that last thing.
Over my past 5 years as a New Yorker, I’ve traversed New York from Upper East Side to Alphabet City, Chelsea Piers to UN Plaza, dark corners of sketchy clubs to sun splashed meadows accented with cherry blossoms. In the process, the many facets of this city that construct her gloriously unique DNA seeped into my own makeup and I find myself craving constantly whatever adventure lies on the next block. And, if you’ll permit me, I’d like to take you along for the ride. I promise I’m a superb driver.
Here, updated frequently, you’ll find my favorite haunts, most delicious dishes, cool events and general info on NYC through the eyes of just one of its many dorks. Hopefully, there’s a bit of something for everyone — tourists, native New Yorkers, observers from afar … even my mom (Hi, Mom!). So take off your coat and stay awhile. We’re just getting started.
