Only problem is … I don’t have HBO. What’s a dork to do?
Never fear, free cable is here! According to a commercial I so luckily caught while watching MSNBC last night, RCN customers in NYC will be treated to free cable March 20th through the 22nd, which includes the first three episodes of the what is sure to be epic John Adams mini-series, starring Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney. The 7-part series is based on the spellbinding Pulitzer Prize winning book by David McCullough, where the author took a historically vain and overly verbose historical side note and made it into a compelling and emotionally connected story.
