Head uptown to the Boogie-Down to catch a glimpse of the elegant and often ethereal beauty of that finicky flower, the orchid. Through April 6th, The New York Botanical Garden will be hosting its annual Orchid Show , showcasing these downright sexy exotic blooms.
On Saturdays and Sundays, experts will be on hand in the Botanical Garden store to help you select the perfect orchid for your viewing and tending pleasure. Special programs in orchid arranging, care-taking and orchid history and botany are also offered free with admission. Check the schedule for dates and details.
